We are seeking an experienced Actuary to provide actuarial expertise and advice in assigned areas
of life insurance financial regulation. This role involves working with cross-functional teams of
internal and external subject matter experts, lobbyists, and other professionals. The successful
candidate will facilitate the development of committee positions and recommendations for ACLI
policy on legislative and regulatory matters. Additionally, they will assist in planning, coordinating,
and implementing ACLI lobbying eƯorts before the NAIC and state legislatures, providing similar
support to member companies.
The ideal candidate should possess extensive subject matter knowledge in financial reporting and
experience working with regulators. They should have strong analytical skills to evaluate proposed
legislative and regulatory changes that might impact the industry. EƯective communication skills
are essential for defining and refining issues into manageable forms and transforming them into
accurate and persuasive written documents and presentations. Additionally, the ability to establish
and maintain good working relationships is crucial. Bachelor's degree in mathematics, finance,
accounting or related field required. At a minimum, should be an Associate of the Society of
Actuaries or member of the American Academy of Actuaries. A Fellow of the Society of Actuaries is
preferred. A minimum of seven to ten years of actuarial experience, with a preference for previous
experience working with regulators and/or a background as a consultant. Background in financial

The ACLI is seeking a Director of Program Development to join the Conference Development team. This
position will be responsible for supporting ACLI with strategic planning, coordination, and content
development for conferences. This role ensures the integrity, diversity, and relevance of conference
programming while serving as a primary liaison between planning committee members, internal teams, and
external partners.
A bachelor’s degree is required; CMP designation a plus. Must have a minimum of 7-9 years of relevant
work experience- financial services and meeting planner background a plus. Must have proven experience
in content development and conference planning, and ability to build relationships and work collaboratively
with diverse stakeholders. Ability to communicate effectively and to develop and suggest creative ideas for
long-range planning of meeting content and format. High level of attention to detail and excellent
communication skills. Experience with Cvent a plus. Strong time management and organizational skills.
Prioritize and accomplish tasks quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced and stressful environment. Ability to
